Sunday School classes are underway at Dormition of the Virgin Mary!  Following local and state guidelines, we limit the capacity of each classroom to ensure that physical distancing can be observed.  We are encouraging parents to pre-register their children.  Pre-registering will save your child a spot in the classroom, and help our Sunday School teachers to plan appropriately.  Students who are not registered will be admitted to Sunday School on first come first serve basis and may not be permitted to attend. Please pre-register today by clicking the button below and filling out the form for each Sunday School Student in your family.

In our ongoing effort to protect our entire Church Family from the risk of Covid-19 and to remain in compliance with local and state regulations, we will be observing our Pastoral Guidelines for Coming Back to Church which include mandatory face coverings and physical distancing.
Please also be aware of the the following protocols for Sunday School
  • Sunday School Students are asked sit with their families during Divine Liturgy and the ushers will direct them to Holy Communion/Andidoron at the appropriate time.
  • Altar Servers attending Sunday School are to remain in the altar until they are dismissed by the Adult Altar servers or Clergy
  • Classroom capacity will be limited to insure proper physical distancing
  • Only Students and Teachers are allowed in the classroom.
    • Each room has a fixed maximum capacity which allows for certain number of students and two Sunday School teachers.
    • In order to maximize the learning experience of our students, parents are asked to refrain from entering the classrooms unless expressly invited to assist by the Sunday School Director or Clergy.
  • Desks will be positioned with at least six feet between them in all directions
