Ushers

Ushers play an important role in the Liturgical life of the Church.  Most importantly, they welcome and greet worshippers as they enter the Church. In many cases, the usher makes the first impression of the Church, as they are the first person a newcomer might meet.  In addition to welcoming all to the Church with open arms, ushers help to maintain proper Church etiquette, maintain order as the faithful enter the Church, proceed to the chalice to receive communion and exit the Church.
