Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons to host Blue Dream Summer Gala to benefit Children’s Tumor Foundation
The Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons announces the Blue Dream, its inaugural gala to benefit both the Children’s Tumor Foundation and its parish building fund. ABC’s chief political correspondent and anchor of Good Morning America, George Stephanopoulos will be the honorary Chair, and the event will take place on Sunday, September 4th from 6:00pm-11pm at Sharing Grounds, a private estate in Bridgehampton, New York.
With this event, The Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons continues their philanthropic work, bringing awareness and understanding of neurofibromatosis (NF) to the greater community while generating resources to improve the lives of friends and neighbors on Long Island’s East End. The Children’s Tumor Foundation, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health of individuals with NF. Seventy percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Children’s Tumor Foundation and the remaining thirty percent will go to the construction of the new community complex.
Highlights of the event include food creations by celebrated chef Michael Psilakis at the VIP cocktail party, dinner by Creative Edge Parties, dancing under the stars and celebrity guests. Maria Loi, a renowned Greek Chef, will prepare pastries from different provinces of Greece. Music will be provided by DJ Jus Ske & Yianni Papastefanou & Orchestra. Dean Vali’s, BOUNCE music and Entertainment Company will coordinate and produce the sound and live entertainment. Angela Giannopoulos Studio3 is serving as Blue Dream’s event designer/producer.

The Children’s Tumor Foundation is a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals born with neurofibromatosis (NF), the term for three distinct disorders: NF1, NF2, and Schwannomatosis. Founded in 1978, the Foundation is the driving force behind world-class research to end NF.
