With heartfelt sorrow and deep pain, and yet in hopeful anticipation of the Heavenly Kingdom, we are saddened to inform you of the passing of our much loved father and brother-in-Christ. Rev. Father John Kefalas. Fr. John served as presiding priest at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in Blue Point, New York. He is the brother of Despina Mellis and the uncle of Rena and John Gouldelias, great uncle of Constantine and Deanna Goudelias.

From 10:00 AM throughout the day with Trisagion to be sung at 6:00 PM followed by the Bridegroom Service of Holy Tuesday

*Please note that Pre-Sanctified Liturgy on Holy Wednesday at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons will begin a half hour earlier than originally scheduled in order to accommodate attendance of Fr. John’s Funeral. Pre-Sanctified Liturgy will begin at 8:30 AM on Wednesday.

Our condolences and prayers are with Fr. John’s wife, Presbytera Anita, the entire Kefalas family, and to the members of St. John Greek Orthodox Church in Blue Point.
