Please Help Those Who Need Water in New York City and Nassau County

In the aftermath of Super Storm Sandy, there is a severe shortage of drinking water in parts of New York City and Nassau County.   The Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons is currently accepting donations of bottled water to be distributed those in the most acute need.  If you are able, please bring cases of bottled water by the church any time between now and this Sunday.  Unopened bottled water can be left on the wooden platform on the back side of the church, near the outdoor refrigerators.  Let’s all try to chip in and offer meaningful and needed relief for those in need.  Thank you very much!

In the weeks ahead we are sure that there will be more opportunities to reach out to those people most affected by the storm. if you have ideas on how to help or know people in need, please let Fr Constantine know OR email Anastasia at [email protected].
