Pluck-a-Feather Thanksgiving Food Drive

Each Year, Dormition of the Virgin Mary conducts a food drive for families in need at Thanksgiving. There will be a Turkey located in the Narthex, whose feathers each have a food item listed on it.  Pluck a Feather and bring the item listed back to Church to be distributed to families who need it. Our Pluck-a-Feather food drive doesn’t only provide fixin’s for a great Thanksgiving Dinner, but also essential pantry items during the cold months of winter.   

Thus, as we prepare for Thanksgiving, let’s spread the joy! We are asking  you to please “Pluck A Feather” and help our course to offer wonderful Thanksgiving dinners for local families in need.   

Please return your food items to Church no later than November 9
Your generosity will bring warmth and joy to those who need it most. Thank you for your kindness and support.
